And see below for the real deal, if you think that Artist's
Statements are a lot of hullabaloo.....
Stef L. Schultz is.....an artist, casual martial artist, and all-around ARTIST, who sings, writes music, enjoys creating art, logos, comics, or whatever else strikes her fancy. She grew up being encouraged artistically by her parents and has never stopped drawing since the second she knew how to hold drawing/coloring apparatus. One might gander that this constant holding of pencils of hers often got in the way of being fed, bathed, or having to sleep as she grew up; HOWEVER, she ADAPTED, because we are Borg, resistance is futile, and, uh....you will be assimilated.
She doesn't know what it will take for the world on the whole to NOTICE HER, SENPAI!?!?!? but she will never stop until she has finally left this wretched and somehow simultaneously beautiful planet a much niftier place. And she will never stop talking about herself in the third person, UNTIL THE NEXT PARAGRAPH.
Just trying to make sense of what to do, just like everyone else is----one day at a time. I moved out at 17 and have been working every proper job I could since then, at some points, three jobs at a time to both be able to pay all the bills and keep saving enough money for all of my art ventures. I've worked in more industries than I can count on my wee gloved fingers----for a while, in a nursing home as dietary aide and housekeeper, then in retail customer service for a while. Worked at a dog grooming salon, then at a couple of call centers. Was a t-shirt shop tech for 3 days before I discovered a severe intolerance of the sprays they were using for the screenprinting. I have been a personal banker, a loss prevention associate, a seasonal/holiday package delivery assistant at UPS, a bubble tea shop supervisor(AND GOT A FREE DRINK EVERY DAAAAY!!!), a factory worker, and a front desk agent at a luxury hotel. Um....none of those are in chronological order, thus lending to an even more mysterious air. I mean, does ANYONE really know what they're doing? 90% don't. Join the club. *wink*.............................No, that wasn't actually a wink, it's just that the smoke from all the raging fires of
my conquest is getting to my eyes. Sorry I misled you.
Where In The World Is Stefi SanDiego?
In a dimension not of sight or sound, but of mind.....as vast as space........and as timeless as infinity. Within the middle ground between light and shadow.......between science and superstition.........between the pit of man's fears..........and the summit of his knowledge.
I love Twilight Zone, but jest aside, I'm formally just a plane ticket away from wherever I need to be.
I love to travel, be it planes, trains, or my little black automobile.....l have no qualm with the open road, or really roads of any kind(besides the obvious fact that both dirt and toll roads are quite annoying) and have driven up and down and ALL over the United States on my own. If you're in the Houston area of Texas, until I decide to live somewhere ELSE, you may see me driving around with the windows open, my arm hanging out, clenched fists clad with black leather motorcycle-gloves, listening to heavy metal, classical/orchestral scores, or film and video game music. No, I will never like listening to/watching sports. And I'm not sorry about THAT, despite the name of my website being so 'sorry' and all, but I DO know more than a few things about martial arts like Kung Fu, Karate, and even a lil' Eskrima. Will it all ever be good enough? Someday, I hope. But "someday" is such a sad word. I wrote a song about that once, too. A story for another time.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have tea to brew, an art empire to continue building,
and a world to infect with my creations.
With Relative Sincerity,
